fash.exe bad image error

On startup, I am getting a message that reads:
DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\idleui.dll is not a valid windows image.
What can I do to fix this problem? Thanks for any help.

The information I have found indicates that it is most likely associated with spyware; for example:

Your first step is to use Ad-AwareSE and Spybot Search and Destroy (make sure all definitions are updated) to attempt to clean your hard drive of the spyware.
If those two applications fail to remove it, then the next step is to post a HijackThis! log to the HJT forum where our volunteer staff of log experts can help you. Information on the process, links to the application, and posting instructions are found here:
