Does anyone know a standard type text they use normally? For some unknown reason, my text, especially online in my browser is skinny and not bold, or dark colored. It is harder to read as well. I have gone to "FONTS' but cannot seem to find what I need.
I have Vista Home Premium on my HP desktop.
Any help appreciated.....Thank you.

You may have accidentally used Text Zoom to make the text smaller in your browser.

Text Zoom

The same methods for zooming apply to Internet Explorer, as well (you didn't specify which you are using).

Does this solve your problem? Or does it affect other programs, such as word processors, as well?

Hello Keyboard....Thank you for your response. I do use IE and may have text zoom accicdentally enabled. My text in AOL browser and buddy list is not in bold like it used to be....same goes for in my AOL browser too. I use AOL for email, etc. I tried what you sent me about Firefox and tried to do the same with IE without much luck.
Is there a default text, fonts that you know of that comes with Vista Home Premium.
Thank you so much for your help.

I'm not really sure. If the zoom thing wasn't the problem, then I don't know what is.

Sorry I couldn't be of better service.

Perhaps a more knowledgeable person will come along with a solution.....there is always hope.

Did it happen in a browser only?
What browser/version?

Yes it does.....I use IE 8 on Vista home premium. I also use AOL's browser for email (ver. 9.1).
Thank you!

In IE go Tools>Internet options>Advanced tab and click on "Reset" button.
Restart IE.
