the feature you are trying to use in on a cd-rom or other remova
removable disk that is not available.
insert the intel®viiv ™ software disk and click ok
this message comes on after i boot up my computer
dell didn't even know what to do,please help?

Hmm...it sounds like you have a program set to start up on boot, but for some reason, the files aren't there to run it.

Type the following into your Start Menu search and press Enter:

msconfig

Look under the "Startup" tab for anything related to Intel. Disable (uncheck the box next to it, and click Apply) the ones that have Intel (if any). Do not change any other settings. Click OK > Restart Now

Do you still get the error after doing this? Or was there nothing in the list with "Intel" in the name?

Yeah, that's probably it.

It's most likely not important enough to bother reinstalling it, so just disabling it should stop the errors on boot. :huh:
