Help Please!

I contacted a virus (defender) and found info on how to remove it, however I lost my patience and unplugged my computer because it would not shut down. Now when I attempt to start it up I turn it on and it's locked into a black screen, nothing happens after it comes on.....

Exactly what "virus" did you remove?

"defender" can refer to quite a few.

Have you tried Safe Mode or Last Known Good Configuration?

What was the "name" of the virus you were removing ( specificly ).
