About every 10-20 seconds, AVG pops up to tell me that it has detected a virus, file name C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\IdeChnDr.sys

The infection tab tells me "Virus identified Win32/Patched.CH"

When I researched the driver, it is commonly identified with problems with Google redirects and bluescreens, but I am having neither of these problems.

I run an AVG scan every day (although it seems as though that program is the problem), I have downloaded MalwareBytes and scanned with that (usually clean, but I did find a trojan once) and I have Free Window Registry Repair, which usually finds multiple "Empty Registry Keys."

There are really no other problems, except the constant pop-up of the AVG warning box.

Is there any program I should be using to fix this? Thanks in advance!
