Hello kegroening and welcome to the BC HijackThis forum. After reviewing the log I see no signs of viruses or malware at this time. The log is clean.

Computer slowdowns can be caused by any number of things ranging from system settings to software/hardware to applications. I would suggest posting to the Windows 98 forum and see what they have to say.
