I have and love Firefox. My homepage is google.co.uk. I have downloadthemall;unplug and betterprivacy as my only addons.
System W7x64Ultimate

Recently I have found that when entering a search into google and then clicking on one of the results instead of opening that result I am redirected to any one of about 4 different search engines. To combat this I have to close this window/tab and reclick on the original google result whereupon I get to where I want.

I have completely and totally destroyed firefox; uninstalled; gone through the registry with a toothcombe and deleted all references to Firefox.
Re-installed firefox and low!! I have exactly the same problem.

I have threatfire and Avast and Adaware - none of whom have given me any result.

Anyone got any suggestions?
