few weeks ago I gave up and left my computer alone and today I try again

I turn on computer the very first thing that shows up (using F8) is
Spyware Alert! Box standing on top of my desktop.
(no safemode showed up)
I have no way to get in computer. How to get in?
I was advised not to click ok or X red box.

Later the next box showed up on top of Syware Alert! is Google Installer. It says Send Error Report or Dont Send.
I was advised not to click on it.
so now what??
What shall I do next?
Do Reformat?
Take out the harddrive and put new harddrive?
suggestions will be appreciated.
thanks

Your infection sounds familiar but I do not want to point you in the incorrect direction.
