I can print from MS Word, but whenever I try to print from Firefox or Internet Explorer 8, the browser crashes.

Already scanned with: Vipre (anti-virus, anti-spyware), Alti-Malware, Super Anti-Spyware, Blacklight Rootkit Eliminator. Nothing found.

When Firefox crashes, it says: "Firefox had problem and crashed." The details refer to an "add-on" : {20a82645-c095-46ed-80e3-08825760534b}:0,0, {972ce4c6-7e08-4474-9285-32819ce6fd}:3.5.8

I tried deleting Firefox 3.6 and replacing is with an earlier version 3.5.8. Same problem.

In IE8, the error message is "Internet Explorer has closed this web page to protect your computer. A malfunctioning or malicious add-on has caused Internet Explorer to close this web page. Windows Data Execution Protection detected an add-on trying to use system memory incorrectly."

If there is an add-on in IE8, I can't find it.

Regards,
Jerryb

On the top right of the page see PAGE ,SAFETY,TOOLS
Click on Tools ,then Manage Add Ons
Probably need to start removing one by one till you find it..
You may want to jot down what you remove so you can put things back if needded.

As I don't belive this is malware I am moving this to Web Browsing , in the forum above this one "Security".
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
