I have uninstalled my Incredimail but I see it is still showing here. Also since I had lost my junk filter it seems I may have caught a baddy? I am not sure. I would appreciate a look see if someone could. I hate to be bothersome.

and I do not know what this is..

O2 - BHO: System Process - {C2EEB4FA-B6D6-41b9-9CFA-ABA87F862BCB} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\navshext1.dll

If I am ok here then go ahead and delete this log. Just thought I had a bit of trouble going on. Thanks Grinler.

Hi pandy

Goto your add and remove and unistall if there

block checker

Run HiJackThis then:

1. Click "Config..."
2. Click "Misc Tools"
3. Click "Open Process manager"

-

Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following:

C:\Program Files\Block Checker\block-checker.exe

Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click "Kill process". Now, click "Refresh", check again, and repeat this step if any remain.

===============

Now, let's open a command prompt and unregister the dll(s) we're going to remove, by entering the following:

regsvr32 /u navshext1.dll

It's ok, if these aren't found or 'error' out. If you want, just copy and paste the individual lines to the command prompt to save on the typing.

===============

Run HiJackThis and click "Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {02478D38-C3F9-4efb-9B51-7695ECA05670} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {12BA043E-293E-4CE4-A8C7-8460934FE801} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: System Process - {C2EEB4FA-B6D6-41b9-9CFA-ABA87F862BCB} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\navshext1.dll

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [BlockChecker] C:\Program Files\Block Checker\block-checker.exe

Now, with all windows closed except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked".

===============

Next, please double click on the My Computer icon on the desktop. Go to Tools | Folder Options, click on the View tab and make sure that Show hidden files and folders is checked. Also uncheck Hide protected operating system files. Now click Apply to all folders, then click Apply then OK.

Locate and delete the following item(s), if present. Make sure your able to view system and hidden files/ folders:

folders...

C:\Program Files\Block Checker

files...

C:\WINDOWS\system32\navshext1.dll

-

Note that some of these file(s) may or may not be present. If present, and cannot be deleted because they're 'in use', try deleting them from "Safe Mode".

===============

Post back a new log, and let me know how everything goes.

I once had reports that people were getting popups until they removed that key. I could not duplicate it, but when i took a look at the file i found some urls that looked a little strange when i visited, and removing it never seemed to have caused any problems.

Soo... i remove it, more from a suspicion then any known fact as it seems to not affect anything.
