congratulations you have been selected to . . .

I kept getting the audio "congratulations you have been selected to . . . " pop up in Firefox. I solved the problem by:

removing an extension add-on in Firefox called "extension 1.29"
removing all instances of "1.29" and "linksador" from windows add/remove application in control panel
deleting the "linksador" and "1.29" folders off my hard drive. I think they were located in program files(x86)

So far the popups have not returned.
