I have been getting this recently and I don't know what is wrong, nothing has changed or been updated. AsGHost is part of my fingerprint reader I think.

I dont know but the manufacturer went under and there are no new drivers

I renamed the problem file agshost.exe to agshost.exeSUCKS and I dont get the error and my computer boots up much faster and doesn't lag anymore!
