ok i just got CutePDF and its great, but i was wondering if there is/are programs out there that can take a few pdf files and make them into one file? or maybe something that i can take pages out of several pdf files and make a new file with those pages. i dont really need to change anything to them, i just need them as one file.

also cutepdf makes stuff into pdf files, is there something that can take pdf files and convert them to doc files? and how would that work with the formats and everything?

As far as I know, you cannot merge PDF files like you do Office documents. The whole idea with PDF files is to have a cross-platform means of transmitting documents in their original state. For all practical purposes, PDF files are therefore "read only." The proprietory formatting does not copy seemlessly into, say, Word; you would need to spend some time editing the text if you merged PDF texts into it.

I found some applications that claim to translate PDF to other file types. I have not used any of these, so I cannot go further than list some I found on Google:

http://www.bcltechnologies.com/document/pr...lpdf/allpdf.htm

http://www.verypdf.com/pdf2word/pdf-to-doc...-to-office.html

http://www.abbyy.com/pdftransformer/?param=33802

Hope this helps,
John
