FixExe.reg Does not work. Registry editing has been disabled by admin

Hi, im new to the community and decided to join seeing how it helped me get rid of sooo many problems in the past!!! but i got a new one

yah as the title says FixExe.reg does not work and a error message saying that registry editing had been disabled by administrator pops up.
i believe i have caught the Xp Antivirus Pro malware.
any help will be appreciated

you could try this

Use the Group policy editor
%windir%\system32\gpedit.msc
User Config\Admin Templates\System\Prevent Access To registry Editing Tools=
"Not Configured"

or To enable regedit paste the link.
www.dougknox.com/security/scripts_desc/regtools.htm
download it and run it!!!
