what you got is actually a single 160 gig hard drive thats partitioned-a 39 gig for the operating system and a 120 for your files, its set up that way to insure that if you ever need to reinstall your OS you can save your files. you can save all your files and pictures to the 120 gig partition, by simply when you download them go to download location and choose the 120 gig partition, or by going to my computer and my pictures folders under my computer, right click them and there should be an option somewhere that lets you choose the place where the computer saves them automatically. Anyway, if it was my beast I would load all your programs under the windows partition (unless you have a lot of HUGE ones) and all your pictures, documents, etc. on the 120 gig partition.
