Commandos 1- i acnt found direct x 5 error

Hello,
i installed properly games of Commandos 1 behind the enemy lines but when i started game this error is showing & game is not running " I CAN FOUND DIRECT X 5 " & i have installed Direct X 9 wat should i do plzzzzzzz can any one tell me

my system properties.
intelŪ PentiumŪ Dual CPU E2160 @ 1.80GHz (2 CPUs)
System Model D945GCL_
1 GB of RAM
80 GB Hard Drive
Diect X 9.0c

Games probably to old to run on directx 9, easiest solution would be to play it on a older computer, or downgrade to directx 5, however that may cause your system to not run properly.

bur dear i have pantium 4 another pc & this game perfectly running on that pc okz im searching on net Directx 5 but im tried searching this one i didnt get it how can i download DIRECTX 5 from where can send me link????????

im not even sure if anyones giving it out anymore kinda old technology, Id have to say if it works on your other computer then play it on the other one.

direct x 9 should run it fine

try updating your drivers and try the game in compatible mode ( rightclick on the .exe ) ( put it in windows 98 or xp)
