I have been having an issue with my laptop for about 2 weeks and cannot get it straight. The Intel Wireless/ProChip set Event Logger would popup. When looking at the "Details" it showed "App crash". After a couple days of that it began locking up for a couple minutes over a few days and then began to shut down. While shutting down the Bluescreen came up and said it was doing a critical file dump and was shutting down. The Blue screen was not up long enough to get any kind of info. As of late the comp will only run in Safe Mode with Networking Support. The Normal boot will end at a black screen and a minimized tab in the lower left with "Int" showing as the window title. I have ran MBAM, spybot search, aNorton 360, Hijack This, and GMER in that order. MBAM found some issues and after restarting and rerunning (still in Safe) nothing else was found. Ran spybot and 1 cookie was found. Again could only start in Safe. Reran MBAM and nothing. Norton 360 was ran and it couldn't finish. Seemed to be about half way through and it stopped responding. I got the system shut down, rebooted in Safe, and just tonight ran Hijack This and GMER. GMER found nothing. I am running Vista SP2 with IE v.8.00 . Please help. I had a desktop and found the solution here a few years ago, this is the first time I had to post.
