I got the vista antispyware 2010 virus and have been trying to remove it for the past few days.
I was able to borrow a friends computer and transfer the files for fixexe and malware bites setup to my comp via thumbdrive, but when i try to run fixexe to start the process, it says this:

cannot import c:\users\sara\desktop\fixexe.reg: the specified file is not a registry script. you can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor.

im not sure what to do here. i cannot run the malwarebites either, though i expected that.

am i supposed to put this file somewhere specific that i am missing??
thanks
