Hello,

I am running a Windows XP Professional OS. All of a sudden I started receiving popups, telling me that the Windows 2010 security, and popups saying the firewall is off. I did download the fix for the Windows 2010 Security problem, but my firewall still turns off periodically.

I also have major problems surfing the web. I can't seem to get anywhere I want to go but instead get redirected to sites other than, even porn sites. This all started about a week ago.

I have downloaded Safe Guard, Spy Bot Search & Destroy, StopZilla, CWShredder, and purchased AVG Pro V9. One CWS browser hijacker was found and removed by the Shredder. Things did run better, however I still have problems with browser redirecting to either search engine sites or other websites I didn't ask for. Sometimes I even get more popups. StopZilla ran a scan and found 3 hijackers among other things. So, I think I still have 2 of them.

Thanks ahead of time and I am sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum.

Please advise!
