Working on a computer that had a mess of Viruses, Malware etc. When I run Combofix it keeps saying that it detects rootkit activity and needs to restart. I let it restart and it does its scan. I know that something is still there because when I go out on the internet I still get other windows opening up. I feel like I am running in circles with Combofix.

List of programs that I have used to scan.

Malwarebytes
Combofix
Smitfraudfix
Spyware Doctor
McAfee Anti-Virus
Scanning with Avast with the hard drive setup as a secondary drive on another computer.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Matt

Hello,
You will need to Download and Run DDS which will create a Pseudo HJT Report as part of its log..
If for some reason you cannot perform a step, move on to the next. Inclde your ComboFix log.
Please follow this guide. go and do steps 6 thru 8 ,, Preparation Guide For Use Before Using Malware Removal Tools and Requesting Help . Then go here Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs ,click New Topic, give it a relevant Title and post that complete log.

Let me know if it went OK.
