explorer problems

Hi there, could you please help me with explorer problems, i keep getting the message microsoft internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close.

When i click on the details it says,
error signature appname iexplore.exe
Modver 6.0.2800.116
off set 00005036
Modname shdocvw.dll

Any help will be great. x

Hi there, thanks for the reply, do i need to download the shdocvw.dll, if so why do i have to do this? Have i mabie changed something ? Any more help will be great.x
