Iolo Machanic pro 9.5

When starting Iolo mechanic 9.5 the start screen comes up but the I get a box with a red circle and a white x and a message "is not a valid integer value" will not let me use Iolo Mechanic, please make instructions clear as I am not that computer literate. Thanks, I use home premium vista

I don't know what the problem is, but I can tell you, that any "miracle" tools like System Mechanic should be avoided.
