Sunday night, we realized the other computer had the Firefox Redirect virus. Sunday night & Monday I tried running a few scans (Malware, Super antispyware, AVG virus scan). Last night I ran xdelbox, it found a possible threat. Before acting on it, I Googled it (from the non-infected computer) and it seemed questionable to take the action suggested, so I simply shut down xdelbox, deleted it from the hard drive, and went to bed.

This morning the Toshiba Satellite laptop won't boot at all:
PXE-E53: No boot filename received
PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE Rom.
Operating System not found.

Nothing obvious in a quick check of the BIOS.

Can you help? Thanks!

Hi,
I'm new, and I'm not certain what your timetable is to expect a response. Is it reasonable for me to expect a response w/in 4 days? Thanks, I'm a little surprised it's been so long, and thought I should ask. I realize my post was apparently misfiled initially too which adds lead time.

Yes Shadowcat1010 it is quite reasonable to expect a reply within 4 days or so. We have recently adopted a new method of addressing issues such as your post identifies. We have noticed an increasing number of posts such as yours which has necessitated this approach to keep up. Thank you for your understanding.
