My neighbor's laptop running Vista went kfooouy. It will boot up in safe mode but won't stay
that way more than three minutes then immediately comes back to the sigin. Bummer. Can't get anything done. She has no installation disk.
I am not allowed to select "last known good configuration".Can't get online with it either. Seems like
a lost cause. What does somebody think?

It's trashing a lot of systems
You'll need to build a boot disk:

The biggest problem will be to figure out which file got damaged

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
Do not send me PMs with problems that should be posted in the forums. Keep it in the forums, so everyone benefits
