I have the reinstall disc and I do not know if I need to reinstall or just repair.
The problem is that when the disc is installed, it prompts for the administrator name and password. I do not have either. I don't even remember setting this up. I only know my user name and password, but I thought that I was the administrator. Any idea's on how I can get past this?

I think I am going to have to do a complete reinstall, I think I have lost everything, possibly due to a virus.

Try just typing administrator as the user and then hit "enter".

Many people never set up a password there.

When does it ask for the password? Does it ask for it when the computer is booting? Or when the " Disk " is installed, what disk do u mean?
