After I run a deep scan with Microsoft Antispyware, my computer starts running so slowly that it seems almost frozen. I had to do a system restore. The system came back fine and up to speed. I ran the MAS scan again, and the same thing happened. was wondering why this would happen?
do you defrag your harddrive often? I use diskeeper for this. The built in from Microsoft works fine. Have you cleaned out your temp and junk files recently? I use Ccleaner for this another good one is Cleanup. The selection for deep scan states it will increase scan time.
Yeah, I do all these things. For some reason, though, MS Antispy seems to always have this effect. I may remove it from my start up menu, and only use it ocassionally, as it seems to seriously affect my PC performance.
