This Bloodhound.W32.EP virus keeps coming up on norton antivirus and can't be repaired. Also the internet wasn't working and kept going to http://www.security2k.net/. What do I do to stop this?

Hi Kikiv and welcome to Bleeping.

Before we get started I need you to shut down a few of those real-time protections you have installed in case they prevent our fix from working.

Please open CounterSpy.
- Click on the "Active Protection" icon.
- In the right pane click on 'Internet Monitors' to open the Internet Monitor status window.
- Click 'Disable' next to the globe icon.
- Click the Back button to return to the Active Protection window.
- Now click on 'System Monitors' and click 'Disable next to the Graph icon.
- Click the Back button to return to the Active Protection window.
- Now click on 'Application Monitors' and click 'Disable' next to the Disc icon.
- Right click on the CounterSpy icon on the taskbar and select Shutdown CounterSpy.
You'll need to renable the above protections after you get the all clear.

Now open Ewido Security Suite.
- Under the "Additional" menu heading click "Remove Guard".

Now for the most important part. Your operating system at present has no Service Packs installed. As such any fix I provide will only be temporary unless you install at least Service Pack 1a (you can get SP2 when you're clean). Please click HERE to download and install Service Pack 1a. Choose the 'Network Installation' link.

Then post a fresh log in THIS thread after rebooting.
:flowers:
