I have a question about wireless printing. I have a pc running windows xp and a apple powerboog g4 running tiger. I also have an epson stylus cx 4600 and a linksys wireless router and i'm trying to be able to print using the mac. I wanted to know if there is an ip address for the printer and if so how can i find it. If i have that i can print with my mac but i have now clue how to find the ip address of the printer. My mac sees the printer but when i try to print it prints out the information about the document i was trying to print like the name, my computer's name, the application and a bunch of computer talk. can any one try to help me out?

The XP box is the Windows XP computer, not the Mac.

The printer must be physically wired to the PC (either by port or by USB) and the Mac networked with the PC using the router.
Your internet connection comes in through the router too.
Both machines need the printer's software.

The Windows computer must be turned on and booted for the printer to work.

My mac gets internet so i guess that must mean its connected to the router. The printer is connected to the PC via usb. One thing that confusses me is my mac sees the printer but when i print to it it brints out computer "gibberish" that contains information about the file I was trying to print. name, the application that printed it, what the file was etc. I don't know why its doinig this. Any ideas?

Go to the website for your printer and find the correct software for your MAC.

Download it and install it on the MAC, setting up the printer on the MAC.

Try printing.

I'm having a problem finding the mac driver for my printer. I have an eson cx 4600 and i went to the link below which has the drivers for my printer but non of them seem to work with my os tiger 10.4.2. Is it possible that they havn't made a driver my os yet?

Anything is possible, but seeing it is being advertised to be used with Macs it is unlikely.

Try this page:

See if you can find what you need there.
