can anyone advise re firefox..can one download this as a browser and still retain and use i/e7.

Yes, you can have as many browsers, as you want.

Though why anyone would want anything other than Firefox is quite beyond me :thumbsup:

many thanks for responses.. i have read reports that some people have problems with firefox.. could you advise which version i should download..........

Personally I have had no issues with Version 3.6, but if you want to be on the safe side, for now download version 3.5.8 is the next newest I believe.

To be fair, if you looked selectively you can find like reports for virtually any web browser. Since there is no cost involved choosing and testing several other browsers is an easy thing to do.

...and security-wise, it's always good idea to stay with latest version - 3.6 in Firefox case.

I am using Firefox 3.6 and it is safest and fastest version ever.
