I am getting the following error when attempting to watch video recaps on cbssports.com:
"error 140: ad blocked: ad resource has been blocked"
Steps:
1. go to cbssports.com
2. find a video to watch - any link with an icon of a video camera will suffice
3. click on the link
4. you will be taken to a page that has a flash window
5. click on the center of the flash window to start the video
6. the first thing you see should be an advertisement of some kind, then the video will start

Instead of seeing the ad, I get a black background with the error text at the top
I have removed all traces (program files, folders, registry keys) that i can find, of:
ad-aware
adbolish
adsgone
adblock pro

I changed IE security settings for internet to least secure options possible.
Rebooted.
problem still exists.
this happens for IE, Firefox, Chrome and Opera.

Any ideas?

sounds like there are traces of some sort of "ad filter" still on the system and that is still blocking them

CBS Uses ad.doubleclick.com for its in show advertisements on-line. You will need to remove that or allow it in your adblocking programs.
