My cousin's computer has begun typing backwards. The curser moves from the right to left rather than left to right. She has tried 2 different keyboards so I don't think that is the issue. All virus & spyware programs have been run and did not find a problem. Those programs are the following; Mcafee, Spybot, & Spyware Doctor. She has been on the phone almost constantly with tech support & no one can figure it out although a few have said they've heard of this problem but do not know the solution. Is there anyone here that can help us?? BTW, this is not a consistant problem, although it does do it most of the time. Thanks again for any help you can give. She is getting NO ERROR messages, just this crazy backward typing.

Is the backwards typing thing happening ONLY while using a web browser, or is it happening on all programs like Word, notepad, etc ?

If it is happening ONLY while using a web browser, are you using Firefox ? Does it happen while using Internet Explorer also?

Please see this article under Support for Mozilla Firefox:
Text entered into Firefox is backwards

Please report back.
