Sample code for a program to take advantage of the JPEG vulnerability in Microsoft Windows has been released on the net.

If you have not upgraded your Windows operating system in a while, then please do so immediately so that the vulnerability that this exploit targets will be secured. You can find information about the vulnerability and how to fix it at the link below.

For almost ever, JPEGs have been considered the one safe attachment; many people share photos using it, and don't give a second thought to downloading it to their hard drive. With these exploits, even though AV companies have issued updated defintions to cover what are known issues, a whole new avenue is opened up to hackers.
Hopefully the word about JPEG vulnerabilities will spread quickly; if not, many people will be in serious trouble.

Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one should be silent.
