So obviously this computer I am working on has some type of malicious software on it and is not allowing me to run any program to remove it and it keeps popping up with

C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe
application not found

and when i do try to run a program like malwarebytes or compofix or even MSCONFIG, command prompts it wants me to choose the program i want to open up the file with. It won't let me boot into safe mode or safe mode with networking.

any advice...

Please download exeHelper to your desktop.

http://www.raktor.net/exeHelper/exeHelper.com

Double-click on exeHelper.com to run the fix.

A black window should pop up, press any key to close once the fix is completed.

Run malwarebytes(full scan in both safe and normal mode)

If you really need to scan your PC with combofix, take help of experts here

Read the guide here
