An 18-year-old high school student has been arrested in Germany on suspicion of creating the Sasser internet worm, police say. The worm spread through an estimated 18 million computers across the world last week, continually shutting down and rebooting them.

This may also be related to the creator/s of NetSky, as messages in the latest version of this worm claimed Sasser was created by the same group responsible for NetSky. NetSky worms had launched DDoS attacks against German and Swiss educational and medical sites.
