I am a retired Chemical Engineer now instructing classes in basic computer skills (from turning on the computer to surfing the web, along with using Microsoft Office products). Unfortunately, this has also forced me to learn more than I wanted to know about viruses. I have learned a few tricks, thanks to Bleeping Computer and other sites, and may be able to share them as well as learning more ways to keep my students' computers functioning.

Turning on the computer and hooking it up to the Internet always brings the problem of malware. Especially with inexperienced users, they tend to trust every site offering downloads, and every E-mail they receive.
