Hello. I am new here and hope someone is able to help. I currently started to receive pop ups inidiating they were from "Vista Antispyware 2010", claiming I have problems and asking to run a full scan, blah, blah. I have not run any of their scans.

I have read through the preparation guide. When I get to the use of DDS.scr, I am asked to disable script blocking programs, but I do not know how to do this. I'm not sure what script blocking software is. However, when I run the DDS.scr, I get a Notepad window full of many lines of gibberish. I do not even get the DDS window providing info on what it is doing as indicated in the preparation guide. I suspect this means I have script-blocking programs, but don't know what to do next.

Thanks in advance for any help.
