Okay:
Dell Vostro 1000 Laptop
I few months ago I reinstalled Windows on this Laptop.
I reinstalled all the drivers that came along with the Vostro laptop at dells driver Website.
I try to burn a cd and it gives me the error saying the drive is incompatible, however it does read.
I tried reinstallin software from Dell website without luck :flowers:

I am Clueless on what to do next

What burning software are you using?

What disk type are you using in the burner?
You say you re-installed windows on this laptop, did the burner work with the origional install?

The Burning software I was using was I-tunes, since that did not work I just dragged files onto the drive to burn but did not work either.

The Disk I am using are Cd-r and I think should have no problem with comp.
When I reinstalled windows and Drivers honestly I did not check if the burning side of the Drive was working.
