i m rk, i have dell laptop. with vista.
recently its getting too slow and internet explorer gets hanged frequently,

can anyone help me......

Download and use the free program CCleaner:

Check to see if you have unnecessary programs running on boot, using up your resources, slowing you down.
Disable any unnecessary startup items.
