I've been on many, many forums and sites, looking up how to delete SurfSidekick 3, but despite them, it won't delete. Even in Safe Mode, it keeps saying some other user is still using the folder, but I made sure it was off, so something's messed up. And on the registry keys, when I delete it, it comes back. Same with HijackThis--when I delete it on HijackThis, it always comes back on the next scan, even after I reboot. It just won't delete.

This company claims that their product will remove it, and you have a free trial period that you can use. I've never used this company so it's up to you, but let us know if it works.

Trojan-Dropper.Win32.SurfSide.a is what kaspersky calls it and they are a reputable company and offer a 30 days free trial and ewido removes just about every type of trojan and they give a 15 day free trial;
Presumably you've already tried scanning with trend and/or panda?

http://www.kaspersky.com/downloads

http://www.ewido.net/en/

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/acti...n_principal.htm

If all else has failed the problem might be due to only partial removal and it will therefore be necessary to reinstall it, and then uninstall properly.

Good luck.

Maybe you should consider posting a Highjack This Log.
And put it in the hands of the experts.
Bleeping Computer has a top notch Highjack This Team.

This link will take you to a detailed tutorial on how to post a log.

How to Post a Highjack This Log

Just please keep in mind that all Highjack This Team Members are volunteers. One must practice a little patience, when waiting for help. I promise you though that they will get to you as soon as they are able.

And above all do not attempt to work on your log yourself. And only take the advice from an official HJT Team Member. Which will show under thier name and avatar.

One more thing. Do not reply to your own post. As the Team keeps an eye out for zero replies. If they see a reply they will assume that someone is already helping you out. Then I'm afraid that you may get lost in the shuffle.
