I have 2 HP lasers - LJ 1018 and a LJ P1005. It seems as though Win7 has a USB printing problem with HP printers. The 1018 just will not work. The Test Page goes through, appears in the printing tasks for an instant and then vanishes, but does not print. The P1005 will print about 4 pages and then stops, with the printing tasks heaping up in the printing list. (I have downloaded the Win7 32 bit drivers for both printers)'
So I thought that maybe a print server would help. I purchased an Intellinet Networking RJ45 to USB print server. The software installs, the MFP manager software sees the print server, but that's where it stops. I have tried connecting both printers to the server, but nothing, once again the jobs pile up, but nothing gets through to either printer. I have tried my Canon IP4600 printer on the print server and it works fine.
Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks for reading this post.

So far, I have heard of nothing but problems with HP printers and Windows 7
You would think they would have their act together by now
I hope someone else can give you a more positive answer other than to tell you to quit bugging HP

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
Do not send me PMs with problems that should be posted in the forums. Keep it in the forums, so everyone benefits
