I have received a version of the following alerts for most of the applications that I have opened over the past week.

"The application or DLL C:\\WINDOWS\system32\papukavo.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."

Based on my research, I think I may have downloaded a trojan in the form of a "mywebsearch" search bar.

I have tried everything--new anti-spyware, fixing my registry, and nothing seems to be working.

I would also like to transfer my files to an external hard drive and want to be sure that I do not transfer contaminated files.

Please instruct me as to how best to proceeed.

Many thanks,
