I found a great site to find out if software is compatible with Windows 7 before I install it. Just click on Business & Home Office icon (or whatever icon is more appropriate), select your System Type at the left and it will pop up pages and pages of programs on the right that are compatible with you bit version of Win7. I have found this site MOST useful to see if my old programs will work on my new Win7 x64 pc! Just thought I'd share this link here.

There's also a Hardware tab to check out. If you're gonna have conflict problems particularly on 64bit Win7, they say it is with old hardware not yet having 64bit drivers. This site is how I found out in advance my older Canon MP180 printer was going to be compatible with Win7 x64. Handy site, this.
