The reason I am posting is because my internet started going in and out today. It's taking forever to load webpages & I'm downloading @ 9kbs per sec sometimes, it's killing me. I've tried to download Spybot but it takes too long and I timeout. I also try to connect to games & that fails too.

I have tried restarting my computer, modem. Resetting my modem. I don't think it's my internet though because my games are freezing up and 1 other program so far. I have used Adaware & MyWebSearch keeps coming up & I get rid of it and it finds more with another search. I've already removed it from the Programs but for some reason it was popping up. This last time it didn't find anything but still having problems.

UPDATES
1)I FIXED THIS!!!>>>>>> Another thing is I can't start my "Windows Firewall" for some reason. I get an error when I try to start it manually through the Services program. Error code is : "Error 1068:The dependency service or group failed to start". I tried a few solutions I found through google but none of which worked.
2)I uninstalled Alcohol120, a friend sent it to me & it had a crack so I figured maybe it could have a virus, restarted the computer, nothing different.
3)I also did a winsock refresh in DOS just incase.

Thank you very much for taking your time to help me, anyone who does. smile.gif

By the way yes, I was being stupid not using an antivirus software + a firewall, I was trying to make my game run smooth.. sad.gif
