Hi all!

I'm running Word 2003 on Win XP Pro (Tablet Edition) and my keyboard shortcuts keep resetting every time I restart Word. It's set by default to "Save changes in Normal". If I close a document but leave Word open, the changes remain. However, if I restart Word, the changes vanish.

Exactly the same thing happens for margins and fonts! I'll set a new default, but the changes will be gone the next time I open Word.

Could it be a problem with the Normal template...? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If this does not happen with documents you have created and saved, it could very well be a problem with Normal. dot. Remove the current file and let Office reset it.

Problem solved!

Yeah, it was Normal.dot -- I had to save defaults manually by opening Normal.dot, making changes then saving it.
