I have an iphone 3G.
i've noticed when i surf the web and i turn the phone sideways to the landscape mode it will not flip anymore.
sometimes the screen goes blank and then comes back after a few seconds.

If i'm texting, and i flip it sideways, the keyboard also flips with no problems.
did i touch a setting or something?
anyone have any ideas?

i honestly dont know the problem, but its gotta be either you changed a setting (which i am unaware of any setting that effects that) , or its a problem with your accelerometer. to make sure, i would restore your iPhone in iTunes, and seee if that fixes the problem, if not then you know it is something hardware

before doing that did you try to reset the phone?? just turn it off and then turn it back on. it may sound silly but it could be that the memory is jammed up.
