Hi, I have a hd5870 on windows 7 64 bit and I'm not quite sure if I have to install the standard driver version than install the hotfix, or can I remove the current 9.11 driver and install the 10.1 hotfix on its own?

10.1 release 70mb

10.1 hotfix 111mb

Thanks for any help

1. Uninstall current version
2. Install the 10.1 release

Only if you are facing an issue that has been addressed by the hotfix, should you choose to install that.

In that case, it would be better to uninstall the 10.1 release and then install the 10.1 hotfix. just to be on the safe side.
