Awhile back, I had that IS 2010 virus, and i got rid of it. I then got a 0x00000024 stop error on restart, and using knoppix, i partially fixed my computer. It starts into Windows, it can do whatever, but it doesn't seem quite right. Whenever I start up, it tries running a chkdsk when windows starts. If i allow it to run, it finishes, and restarts the computer, and its another 0x24 BSOD when it tries loading windows. So i put in the knoppix CD, run ntfsfix and it works again. If i skip the disk checking, windows works perfectly fine. I installed GMER and HJT to hopefully post them here to see if maybe there's an error somewhere, or a part of a virus hasn;t been completely removed. I ran MBAM today, with nothing, and Spybot S&D with 3 tracking cookies and an edited registry file. Is there something in these logs I should concern myself with?

My name is Syler and I will be helping you to solve your Malware issues. If you have since resolved your issues I would appreciate if you
would let me no so I can close this topic, if you still need help please let me no what issues you are still having, in your next reply.

We apologize for the delay in responding to your request for help. Here at Bleeping Computer we get overwhelmed at times, and
we are trying our best to keep up.

We need to create an OTL Report
  1. Please download OTL from one of the following mirrors:
  2. Save it to your desktop.
  3. Double click on the icon on your desktop.
  4. Click the "Scan All Users" checkbox.
Under the Custom Scans/Fixes box at the bottom, paste in the following bold text.
    %systemroot%\system32\*.dll /lockedfiles
    %systemroot%\Tasks\*.job /lockedfiles

  5. Push the button.
  6. Two reports will open, copy and paste them in a reply here:
    • OTL.txt <-- Will be opened
    • Extra.txt <-- Will be minimized
