Internet Explorer Problem With New Windows

Yesterday and today Internet Explorer has been failing to load pages when they open in new windows. It just opens a blank browser screen. I can ususally copy the link and paste it into the new window's address bar but that doesn't always work depending on the type of link.

Please can someone suggest how to fix this problem?

Hi can you do a hijack this log and repost it back here under Hijack This Log.
Now installed Microsoft Security Essencials on my Tower with Windows Home Premium 32bit and Toshiba Satellite Pro Laptop with Windows Home Premium 64bit
