I resolved my problem with the help of someone in this forum that sent me a private message. I ended up running a program called TDSSkiller and that got rid of my problem. Good luck to anyone else that may have this difficult virus to get rid of.

Hello, while I am glad you resolved this problem, I would appreciate it if you could let me know (using PM if you wish) who sent you a PM with assistance.

This is not allowed by forum rules and all our staff members (including Malware Response team members) are aware of this. It sometimes happens that regular members send PM's with advice, but, how well intended they might be, they do not have proper training to give malware advice and following their directions can cause more harm to your computer.

Thanks for your understanding.

regards, Elise
