I tried to start firefox today, and it asked me to choose a profile. I tried to choose the only one i had (named "Monkey") but it wouldn't let me, saying that it was already in use. I didn't have firefox open before trying to open it, but it still wouldn't let me sign on my regular profile, so i had to create a new one. The new one doesn't have any preferences, bookmarks, themes, etc.

How do i get back to my original profile?

Try this:

Close firefox and make sure its not running in the background.

Start >> Run then type in blank

"firefox.exe -p"

I hope it works!

Nevermind, i figured out a solution. I went into "Application Data" for my Username on windows, then went to the "Mozilla" folder, then FIREFOX, then profiles...

I deleted the file that i created to get around my other profile. The next time i started FF, it asked me to choose which profile i wanted. I chose my original and voila, problem solved.
